When and where is the show?

How much does it cost to attend Automate?
Walking the show floor, seeing the daily keynote, and visiting exhibitor booths is FREE!  Conference sessions, exams, and social events are an additional fee.

What are the show hours?

Monday, May 10, 2027:   10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday, May 11, 2027:   10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday, May 12, 2027:   10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Thursday, May 13, 2027:   10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Who will be exhibiting at the show?
We typically have over 1,000 exhibitors showing off their technology at the show. The 2027 exhibitor list is still in the works but you can see the 2026 list for a preview.

Can I bring my child with me?
For the safety of our attendees and exhibitors, no one under the age of 12 will be allowed on the show floor. No Exceptions. Proof of age may be required. Children 12 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or adult. We do allow chaperoned school groups to attend.  For more information on student groups and tours, please email Clarissa Schwendeman.

What Is the badge pick-up process?
You will be able to pick up your badge on-site at the Automate registration desk. Your confirmation email includes a QR code which can be scanned for quicker badge pick-up or we can look you up by name.

Are there discounted hotels for the show?
Yes, we have many discounted hotel blocks throughout the city available to our attendees. OnPeak is the official hotel booking partner for Automate. Please beware any other hotel offers to avoid scams.

How do I get a Visa Invitation letter?
Please fill out our Visa Letter Request form. Allow 10 business days for us to review your request. All Visa invitation letter requests are individually reviewed. Submission of the form does not guarantee approval. Once reviewed, we will notify you via email. Visa letters will only be provided once you have registered for the show.

Who organizes Automate?
Automate is organized by the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), a global advocate for the benefits of automating. A3 promotes automation technologies and ideas that transform the way business is done.

How do I register?
You can register for the tradeshow, conference, and networking events online. Don’t forget, walking the show floor is FREE!

Is there Wi-Fi available?
Free Wi-Fi will be available on the show floor!

Handicap and Mobility services:
We can accommodate most handicap and mobility needs. Please note what special services you may need in your registration. Scooters and wheelchairs are available onsite.

Conference

What is the Automate Conference?
Whether you are seeking entry-level training for a basic understanding of automation (including robotics, machine vision, motion control, assembly automation, sensors, and more) or are looking for more advanced courses, the conference has something to offer you. You’ll be able to take what you learned in class and have a better understanding of the technology on the show floor.

What is included in the All-Access Pass?
Your All-Access Pass gains you entrance into all the conference sessions, access to the conference proceedings, and allows you to walk the show floor to view exhibitor booths. All keynotes and show floor theater sessions are included. If you would like to sign up for one of our certification exams, there is a separate exam fee. 

Does a conference pass get me into the show?
Yes, any conference pass will also allow you onto the trade show floor.

Do you have any conference discounts?
We do not offer any discounts on attending our conference sessions. However, we do offer early bird conference pricing from June 25, 2026 through March 29, 2027. Standard pricing goes into effect from March 30, 2027 through May 13, 2027.

How do I cancel my conference pass or paid registration?
Paid registrants can cancel until Monday, March 29, 2027, without charge. After that date, a $200 cancellation fee applies. No refunds for cancellations received after Saturday, April 24, 2027. Attendance substitutions are permitted anytime without penalty.

Do I need a Conference Pass to see the keynote speakers?
No. All show attendees, conference attendees, and exhibitors can attend the Automate keynotes free of charge.
