Mundt Standard Laser Workstations

1. GP-1812

  • A General-Purpose Workstation  
  •  Available in Class I or Class IV configurations -Travel & Work Area: 18” X 12” X “ 18”

The GP-1812 is a smaller travel workstation but is applicable for manufacturing a large variety of applications such as cutting, welding and ablation. This machine has a split gantry with the X & Z Axis positioned on an upper bridge and the Y Axis is located on the base plate. This high precision sturdy workhorse is solid steel and is capable of running product development to operating 24/7 production. This Standard GP-1812 is built to add additional machine options that can be upgraded in the field.

2. GP-3024

  • A General-Purpose Workstation for manufacturing medium size products
  • Available in Class I or Class IV configurations - Travel & Work Area: 30” X 24” X 12”

Essentially a larger version of the GP-1812, the Gp-3024 also has a split gantry with the X & Y Axis positioned on an upper bridge and the Y Axis is located on the base plate. This high precision sturdy workhorse is solid steel and is capable of running product development to operating 24/7 production. This Standard GP-3024 is built to add additional machine options that can be upgraded in the field.

3. GP-3628-F

  • A General-Purpose Workstation for manufacturing larger products
  • Available in Class I & Class IV configurations. • Travel and Work Area: 36” X 28” X 12”

This machine is built to optimize a larger work area with a smaller base to save floor space. The GP-3628-F has a split gantry with the X & Z Axis positioned on an upper bridge and the Y Axis is located on the base plate. This Standard machine has the same additional features as others in this GP Series. This high precision sturdy workhorse is solid steel and is capable of running product development to operating 24/7 production. This Standard GP-3628 is built to add additional machine options that can be upgraded in the field.

4. DB-2412

  • A General-Purpose Moving Part Laser Workstation - Available in Class I & Class IV configurations - Travel & Work area: 24” X 12” X 18” (also available with 12” travel)

This specialized sturdy machine is built with steel and features the X & Y Axis positioned on the base with the Z Axis mounted on a column. This configuration lends itself for hard optic beam delivery that is utilized with Ultra Short Pulse Lasers. Multiple Accessories Options are available for the DB Series. This Standard GP-2412 is built to add additional machine options that can be upgraded in the field.

5. DB-2412-A

  • A General-Purpose Moving Part Laser Workstation
  • Available in Class I & Class IV configurations - Travel & Work Area: 24” X 12” X 18”

This machine can handle manufacturing medium size products. This machine is the same as the DB-2412 except if offers an extended 18” Z travel
 

6. DB-241218-7

  • An expandable/adaptable Ultra short Pulse Laser Workstation with 7 Axis of Motion
  • Class IV configuration  •  Travel & Work Area 24” X 12” X 18”

Included, Infinite Field of View with a scan head and an ultra-short pulse laser.
 


7. CB-3012

  • A General-Purpose Overhead Gantry Laser Workstation
  • Travel & Work Area: 30” X 12” X 12”  

The X Y & Z axis are positioned on an overhead bridge (Gantry) that allows for a totally open work area capable of supporting heavy parts. Multiple options and accessories are available for this adaptable workhorse, and it is built to be able to modify or upgrade in the field.

8. GT-1000

  • A Heavy-Duty Large Travel Workstation capable of processing large heavy parts
  • Travel & Work Area: 48” X 24” X 36” (is expandable)

This workstation is easily accessible and convenient from all four sides. The GT-1000 features very large
 X and Y Axes on a welded steel base, with a sturdy cantilevered arm on a hefty Z Axis. The rigid arm is ideal for a tool changer for swapping out laser focusing heads.

9. IB-1284

  • A Heavy-Duty Wire Laser Bonder -  Work & Travel Area: 12” X 8” X 4”

This robust laser workstation can run 24/7 and is fully automated and capable of running unattended. The IB-1284 is a high-performance Bonder and is highly reliable, which makes it perfect for medical or aerospace applications and multiple battery interconnecting Processes.
 

10. SG-1805

  • Stent Graft Laser Workstation - Work & Travel Area: 18” X 5”

The SG-1805 is optimized for hard optics laser beam delivery, with X and Z Axes on a bridge overhanging a fixed rotary and tailstock. This machine is historically a dedicated workstation that trims excess material from a stent graft, but it can readily be adapted for any application requiring on-centerline laser operations on a rigid shaft or tube
 

GP-3012 Glove Box

  • Work & Travel Area: 30” X 12” X 8”

A Class I configuration with a split gantry. The X and Y axis are located on an overhead bridge and the Y axis is located on the base. This special combination allows lots if travel for a minimum floor space for machine travel. A specialty feature is the capability to have a precisely controlled atmosphere for processing products, a feature that is required for manufacturing multiple medical products.

NOTE:
All machines can be upgraded with rotary stage(s) for work holding and/or beam delivery. Several other standard and custom options are available.
