NASA Veteran Gregory Robinson Announced as Tuesday Keynote for Automate 2023

DETROIT – Gregory Robinson, who led NASA’s James Webb Telescope Program, will shed light on how organizations can better drive innovation and overcome challenges during his keynote address at Automate at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, in Detroit.

The Automate Show and Conference is the leading automation showcase in North America and is free to attend.

At NASA, Robinson worked with, led, and managed some of the world’s most accomplished scientists and engineers as the director of the James Webb Space Telescope. During his 33-year tenure, he prioritized relationship-building, creativity, knowledge-sharing and “open communication without fear” to foster success.

“The innovation pioneered by Robinson in his time at NASA is—literally—out of this world,” said Robert Huschka, Vice President of Education Strategies, Association for Advancing Automation (A3). “The real-life examples Robinson will share of how he leveraged the human element to drive technological transformation and achieve ambitious goals is exceedingly relevant for today’s automation audience.”

Robinson is one of five keynote speeches that will take place throughout the show, along with a full lineup of educational sessions at the Automate Theater, all free to attendees.

Automate takes place May 22-25 in Detroit, and anyone who works with or is interested in automation can attend for free.
