Saint-Gobain designs and manufactures Rencol tolerance rings, Norglide bearings, and SprinGlide components. Rencol tolerance rings provide torque overload protection in a small radial installation package. This provides the benefits of eliminating the need for an additional bolt-on slip clutch, and providing substantial design space savings due to the coaxial tolerance ring. Norglide bearings are dry-running and maintenance free (they do not require any externally applied lubricants), they create almost no wear debris, and can be used in very close-clearance applications. SprinGlide components provide constant sliding force under variable loads and provide misalignment compensation.
