Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) is a Boston-based robotics company founded in 2015 by Piaggio Group, the Italian manufacturer and creator of the iconic Vespa scooter. PFF creates proprietary in-house technology that combines human behavior with semi-autonomous material handling platforms designed to follow and operate at pedestrian speeds. PFF’s latest innovation, kilo™, offers a safe, hands-free way of transporting mass amounts of goods throughout dynamic environments. Kilo™ operates out of the box, without costly infrastructure requirements or advanced training for operators and can be optionally outfitted with industry or facility specific carts or shelving, ensuring the right configuration for any job.
