Kübler expands its product portfolio in inclinometers

Featuring:

The Kübler Group, specialized manufacturer of industrial components for the measurement, transmission and evaluation of data and signals, is expanding its portfolio in inclinometers with the IN6x / IN7x product types. Both versions are available with an analog output or an IO-Link interface.

With the expansion of these inclinometers in both series, both 2-dimensional inclinations with the measuring range of ±85° or 1-dimensional inclinations up to 360° can be measured.

In addition to innovative sensor technology, the plastic-housed inclinometers offer simple programming options. Thus, for individual requirements, the center point along with the end points can be customized via a teach adapter. Further parameters such as direction of rotation, filter settings, output signal, and spirit level functions can be defined via FDT/IODD (PACTware).

A visual support by 3 LEDs, as well as the spirit level function, enables a time-saving commissioning and provides transparency during operation and diagnostics. Due to the wide temperature range of -40°C ... +85°C and the high protection class IP68 / IP69K, precise measurements are possible even under the harshest environmental conditions.

The IN7x inclinometers use an additional gyroscope sensor to the acceleration measuring cell (MEMS) for precise angle measurement. An intelligent algorithm combines the recorded values for acceleration and rotation rate, leading to a high speed of the measurement result. This enables the use in dynamic applications.
