Membership May Giveaway Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR MEMBERSHIP WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

The sponsor of the Membership May Giveaway is A3, The Association for Advancing Automation.

2. Eligibility

The Membership May Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are at least the age of majority in their state, province, or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members and household members of each are not eligible to enter or win.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Promotion Period

The giveaway begins when the entry form is made available and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on May 22, 2026 (“Promotion Period”). Entries submitted after the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter

To enter, complete and submit the official giveaway entry form during the Promotion Period and provide all required information.

Limit one (1) entry per person during the Promotion Period unless otherwise stated by Sponsor. Duplicate entries or entries submitted by automated means may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion.

5. Prize

Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) Automate-branded Carhartt Backpack.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize: $161.08

Total ARV of all prizes: $483.24

No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

On or about the week of May 25, 2026, Sponsor will select three (3) potential winners in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

Potential winners will be notified using the contact information provided at entry. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within seven (7) days, is found to be ineligible, or fails to complete any required documentation, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

7. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8. General Conditions

By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this giveaway.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the giveaway, submitting fraudulent entries, or acting in violation of these Official Rules or applicable law. FTC sample contest rules commonly include sponsor discretion to disqualify tampering and note that proof of submission is not proof of receipt, which is a useful baseline for this section.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, or technically corrupted entries, all of which are void.

9. Release and Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the giveaway or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize, except where prohibited by law.

10. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, entry into the giveaway constitutes each winner’s consent for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, city, state or province, likeness, and prize information for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.

11. Privacy

Information collected from entrants will be used by Sponsor for the administration of this giveaway and otherwise in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy practices. For more information, please review Automate Show’s Privacy Policy.

12. Platform Disclaimer

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or Carhartt. By entering, you understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or Carhartt.

To request the names of the winners, send a request to [email protected] no later than 12/31/2026.
