HIGEN RNM has more than 60 years legacy of specialty in motor technology. We started as business division of LG Electronics in 1963 and spun off from LG Electronics’ motor division in 2008. HIGEN RNM has focused on research and development in Actuators for robots and EV motor businesses. We are now a specialist company establishing a solid leadership position in the robot and mobility drive module sectors.

No.1 Actuator solution technical know-how HIGEN RNM is the first company in Korea to localize servo motors and to develop high-power 75 kW class servo motor and drive. We have in-house capability to design reducers (cycloidal/planetary gears) and have accumulated years of experience in optimizing actuators. Based on the business foundation, HIGEN RNM can provide duty cycle-tailored solutions using core components for actuators that are independently designed and manufactured.
