The Illinois State University Department of Technology is recognized as one of the premier technology programs in the nation at both the bachelor's and master's levels. Annually serving over 600 students, the faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing individuals for leadership positions as management-oriented technology professionals in six undergraduate programs and four areas of graduate study. Engineering Technology at Illinois State University is an applied program that allows students to explore the integration of engineering principles and modern technology. The courses in Engineering Technology focus on the management of people, processes, and materials through hands-on, application-oriented activities. As a result, our students are well equipped to become technically-oriented managerial professionals and leaders in business and industry.
