ASG, Division of Jergens, Inc. has been offering products and solutions for assembly since 1976. With headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio (USA), subsidiaries in Shanghai and Mumbai and sales offices in Mexico and Europe, ASG offers a complete line of torque control screwdrivers, workstation accessories, production aides, and precision fastening equipment through ASG Express, Precision Fastening and Automation product groups.

In 2010, ASG made the transition from wholesale distributor to manufacturer with the acquisition of MicroTorq, LLC, a leading manufacturer of precision torque and angle DC electric fastener systems. The MicroTorq line was trademarked by ASG as X-PAQ, an acronym for Precision – Accuracy – Quality (what customers can expect from the X-PAQ). Today, ASG X-PAQ systems – combined with SD2500 Series transducerized DC electric screwdrivers – are the core product offering in the Precision Fastening line, with the controllers and accessories being engineered and manufactured at our headquarters facility in Cleveland, Ohio.

The ASG Automation group provides pre-engineered and custom solutions to meet the comprehensive expectations of our clients. Underpinned by world class knowledge of threaded fastening, our systems are distinctive in their operation; providing market leading precision. With robust elements of flexibility and expansion built in, the systems are designed to persevere life cycle changes to provide customers with longevity in an automated system. ASG also partners with Shibaura Machine to extend the capabilities of the ASG Automation Group. In 2017, ASG announced a partnership with TM Robotics (in partnership with Shibaura Machine- formerly Toshiba Machine) to offer high speed, robust solutions, with advanced functionality that are also cost effective.
