Over the past five years, we have invested more than $25 million in the international optics community through our advocacy and support, including scholarships, educational resources, travel grants, endowed gifts, and public-policy development.

In January 2026, as part of SPIE Photonics West, we will launch SPIE Vision Tech, which includes a free Forum and a free Expo. The Forum is a unique opportunity to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of intelligent imaging and sensing, rooted in the SPIE legacy of optics and photonics leadership. The Vision Tech Expo was created as an opportunity for attendees to specifically connect with suppliers of vision, sensing, and imaging components and technologies.
