Kassow Robots, founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, by Kristian Kassow, develops and manufactures unique, efficient 7-axis lightweight robots for industrial applications. Bosch Rexroth has been the majority shareholder since April 2022, with co-owner Kristian Kassow continuing as CEO. The company’s motto is “strong, fast, simple.” Its robots offer speed, power, and extended reach. The user-friendly design gives businesses greater flexibility, enabling SMEs without in-house robotics specialists to implement complex automation and programming cost-effectively and independently. Additionally, the compact design of the cobots allows them to be used in confined spaces. The robust product family includes seven lightweight cobots: the KR 810 (850 mm reach / 10 kg payload), KR 1018 (1000 mm / 18 kg), KR 1205 (1200 mm / 5 kg), KR 1240 (1200mm / 40 kg), KR 1410 (1400 mm / 10 kg), KR 1805 (1800 mm / 5 kg) and KR 1824 (1800mm / 24 kg).
