Founded in 2013, Cyngn is an autonomous vehicle company on a mission to deploy safe, reliable, and scalable self-driving industrial vehicles to manufacturing facilities throughout North America. Its flagship product, the DriveMod Tugger, has been used by many Fortune 500 companies, including Pepsi and John Deere. John Deere, in fact, was so impressed by Cyngn’s technology that it crowned the company a “Preferred Vendor”, a testament that Cyngn meets John Deere’s rigorous standards required for reliable, high-throughput enterprise deployment. Since then, John Deere has deployed Cyngn vehicles at multiple facilities, with each site reaping the efficiency gains and labor savings associated with autonomous material handling.
Cyngn's DriveMod Tugger automates 80 labor hours per week by converting repetitive hauling workflows into an autonomous tugger train. Built for mission-critical delivery, the tugger hauls up to 12,000 lbs. through tight aisles, live traffic, and constantly shifting environments, without requiring you to redesign your facility.
The DriveMod Tugger can:
• Operate outdoors between buildings (weather permitting). • Haul and tow up to 12,000 pounds. • Switch to manual mode instantly so your team always stays in control. • Navigate without special infrastructure like tape, magnets, or wires. • Run 16 hours per day. • Drop off carts automatically.
“Before adopting the DriveMod Tugger, we relied on about 200 forklift trips per week to move pallets between two buildings. Now we move four pallets at a time — a 4x increase in efficiency — and we don’t have to dedicate an operator to that route anymore.” — Dave Hoover, VP of Technical Services, U.S. Continental
