Easy configuration via app
Once created, configurations can be saved under different names, reloaded, and even transferred to other encoders. This allows configuration sets to be used efficiently for different applications. Access is secured via PIN and PUK—a principle familiar to users.

Basic or Advanced – whatever you need
The WDGN series is available in two versions:

• Basic maps the standard channels A, B, N and their inverted signals.
• Advanced allows individual configuration of up to four channels with corresponding inverted outputs – ideal for applications with special requirements, such as different impulse counts per channel.

Safety first
If required, all data transmitted via NFC can be encrypted. Configuration is then only possible with the correct password. After each transmission, the operator receives confirmation.

Benefits for machine builders, end customers and distributors
Machine and system manufacturers benefit from the option of keeping a WDGN encoder type in stock and configuring it individually only when it is picked, assembled or commissioned. End customers and distributors can even set the encoder for the respective application while it is still in its packaging – without a power supply and independent of an Internet connection.
