Creating your in-booth video couldn’t be easier. Simply schedule the shoot and leave the rest to us. Check out the information below for some FAQs or be sure to contact us with any further questions.

Videos are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to sign up early!

How do I sign up?

Sponsors will receive an email confirmation with more information on how to schedule your interview. Please fill out all forms completely so we have everything we need prior to arriving at your booth.

What should I wear?

Your typical tradeshow attire is perfectly acceptable, whether that’s a logo shirt, dress shirt/blouse, or business suit. We recommend solid colors – stripes and bold patterns should be avoided.

What happens when the video crew arrives at my booth?

We will introduce ourselves and briefly discuss the process with the interviewee. We will set up the shot, put a microphone on the interviewee, and conduct a soundcheck. When everything is ready, we proceed.

What types of questions will be asked?

Typically, the host will make a brief introduction about who we are and who we’re speaking with. Then, the interviewee will be asked to talk about the company and the exciting products/services on display. Lastly, the host will ask where viewers can go for more information (e.g., your website) and then wrap-up/conclude the interview.

Can my company provide its own topics or questions?

Yes! This is YOUR interview and we are open to restructuring it to fit your needs. You are also welcome to provide up to two seed questions in advance.

What is Automate LIVE?

Automate LIVE, our daily live TV broadcast studio, brings together the excitement of Game Day with the daily news and insights of Good Morning America. Each day, speakers, social media influencers, and leading automation companies join A3 staff and industry insiders to talk about the important news transpiring at Automate 2022.

What happens if the interview doesn’t go as planned?

Don’t worry. We can stop and restart the interview as needed. We strongly recommend resisting the urge to “script” your interview. The best results come from natural, unstructured conversation between the guest and host.

How long does the process take?

We would need approximately 25 minutes of your time to complete the entire process. In many cases, it can be less than that. Please note that our video shoots are scheduled every half hour, so it’s important to stay on schedule.

What if we can’t make our allotted time?

If you are not at your booth at your scheduled time or experience an unexpected conflict, we will make every effort to reschedule you on site. However, we may have very limited availability.

How long is the final video?

The finished, edited video will be 3-5 minutes in length.

Can we provide animation for the video?

Yes! We can incorporate your animation. Simply send us the file (any format) and we’ll be sure to include it.

When will the final video be ready?

Our video team begins the editing process as soon as the show is over. The final file is typically ready for viewing approximately two weeks after the event.

What kind of exposure will my video get?

Your video will be posted on the Automate website for 90 days and distributed via email to the Automate 2022 registration list as well as the A3 membership.

Does my company receive a copy of the video?

Yes! After our 90-day exclusive hosting period, you will receive a copy of the video to use as you see fit.
