The SHA-IDT Series is a family of compact actuators that deliver high torque with exceptional accuracy and repeatability. These hollow shaft servo actuators feature Harmonic Drive® precision strain wave gears combined with a brushless servomotor, a brake, two magnetic absolute encoders and an integrated Servo Drive with CANopen® Communication.
This new Harmonic Drive® gear features a large, hollow shaft with a compact outer diameter. An extra large hollow shaft is ideal for robots and machines requiring complex cabling to pass through the axis of rotation. The new gear design features Harmonic Drive's “S” tooth profile for optimal tooth engagement resulting in high torque, high-torsional stiffness, long life and smooth rotation. FBS Series is available in two sizes (25, 32) and three ratios (30:1, 50:1, and 100:1).
The HPG Harmonic Planetary® gearhead delivers High-Torque and High-Accuracy in a compact package. The gearhead incorporates continuous backlash compensation that ensures low backlash throughout the life of the gear. A large Cross Roller bearing serves as the output flange and can directly support large loads with high moment stiffness. HPG planetary gears are available with a flange output, smooth output shaft or a shaft with a key and tapped center hole.
